How to read what you see
- 1
Find your Life Palace
It is outlined in gold. It anchors the chart, and every other palace is positioned from it.
- 2
Read the major stars first
Most palaces hold one or two of the fourteen major stars. The small mark beside a star is its brightness, and a colored tag means one of the Four Transformations landed there.
- 3
Read palaces in groups
Tap a palace and the chart tints the three that work with it: the two in its triangle and the one directly opposite.

Frequently asked questions
Is this chart really free?
Yes. Drawing the chart costs nothing and needs no account.
Do you save my birth details?
No. They are used once to calculate the chart and are not stored. Reload the page and they are gone.
What if I don't know my birth hour?
The hour decides where the Life Palace sits, so a chart without it is not reliable. A birth certificate or a family member is the best source.
Which time do I use if I was born abroad?
Use the clock time at the place you were born.
Why does my chart differ from another site?
Schools differ. This chart uses the Korean lunar calendar, which follows Korea's time zone, so on some dates a lunar month starts a day apart from the Chinese calendar. Leap-month rules also vary by school.
